From DIY Bride to Styling Dreams for Others: My Journey So Far

Hey there, I’m Nikita—lover of weddings, creative chaos, and making dreams come to life through beautiful signage and styling. If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re either planning your own wedding or you’re someone who loves a good transformation story, and I’ve got both to share.

It all started when I decided to take the DIY route for my own wedding. Not just because I love getting crafty (though I do), but because I had a vision that I couldn’t quite find already out there. I wanted signage that felt modern, minimal, and meaningful—something that reflected us. So, I grabbed my Cricut, dove into Canva, and the obsession began.
What started as a few late-night projects quickly turned into something bigger. I found myself falling in love with the process of curating beautiful spaces—from choosing fonts to matching florals and creating those dreamy Pinterest-inspired setups that make people stop and say, “Wow.”
Fast forward a few months, and I was suddenly the go-to gal in my circle for wedding styling advice, signage inspo, and everything in between. I realised that I wasn’t alone—so many brides wanted that DIY, personal touch, but just didn’t have the time or headspace to bring it all to life. That’s when the lightbulb went off: what if I could do this for them?
And so, my styling business was born.
Now, I get to create curated signage, custom digital downloads, and hire packages that help brides, mums-to-be, and event hosts bring their vision to life—without the stress. I still get butterflies every time I see one of my signs set up at a celebration. It’s surreal to know that something I once did for me is now helping others celebrate their moments.
If you’re here because you’re planning a baby shower, a bridal shower, your big day—or you’re just in the dreaming stage—I hope my story shows you that it is possible to have beautiful, intentional styling without losing your mind (or your sleep schedule). And if you ever need someone to make the magic happen for you? I’m your girl.
Thanks for being here. This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to keep creating with love, purpose, and a whole lot of style.
Xoxo Nikita
